On October 1st, after a year of development Nordic Leisure, further “NLAB” or “the group”, will officially launch its first licensed online casino at the regulated Lithuania gaming market. Optibet runs on NLAB’s new cutting-edge platform and is available in Lithuanian, English and Russian languages and welcomes all players from around the world.
The launch of Optibet online is an important addition to the network of Betting Shops which NLAB operates in Lithuania after the acquisition of UAB Baltic Bet in September 2017. The Betting Shops were rebranded to the Optibet brand earlier this year in order to strengthen the Optibet brand recognition.
“From the early beginning, we were aiming to build the very biggest and best online casino in Lithuania. Even though the technical compliance is very comprehensive we managed to launch and complete our initial mission”, said Viltė Sabalienė, Country Manager Lithuania.
Robert Andersson, CEO of Nordic Leisure continues. “This is a milestone for the group and the team has done a tremendous job adding yet another licensed market to our portfolio. Now the focus will be on profitable growth and expand on the service’s offered in Lithuania.”
Ahead of the launch NLAB’s technical platform underwent an extensive certification process by the British company NMI Gaming, on request by the Lithuanian Gaming Control Authority. “It’s proof that out technical platform is of the highest quality and an achievement for our organisation. I’m certain that we have the technical capacity to enter any regulated market, which often has very complex requirements.” says Robert Andersson.
Nordic Leisure’s Optibet brand offers a world-class experience from innovative casino suppliers as EGT, NYX Interactive, Microgaming, Play’n Go, and two exclusive partnerships with Pragmatic play and Playson. With the widest choice in the Lithuanian market of slots- and table games tailored to mobile and desktop use, NLAB is confident that Optibet will be an instant success.
NLAB is a multi-brand online gaming company with 180+ people from more than 10 countries situated in offices across Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Malta and Spain working with online gaming. What started as just an idea back in 2002 has grown into an international organisation with the passion and skills to lead the online gaming space by creating the most innovative and entertaining experiences to anyone, anywhere, on any device.
